An exciting sales opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to progress their career within the drinks industry.
JG Drinks Ltd (the company behind Copper in the Clouds) make and distribute our range of gins and liqueurs from our distillery and base in central Hertfordshire. By the end of Q2 2020, two exciting new brands encompassing rum and cream liqueurs will be added to the portfolio.
Our small and tight-knit team has big ambitions for growth for the next few years and we’re currently hiring for several key roles to make this ambition a reality.
We’re looking for an experienced sales account manager to join the team and scale up with us.
The main focus of the role is actively seeking out new accounts and building new relationships both on and off-trade with a primary focus on the South East and London.
Representing a premium portfolio of products, the ideal candidate would be a self-starter who is naturally motivated and target driven. We run on the mantra of “move fast and break things” and want to find like-minded, personable people to support existing accounts and develop new opportunities.
Working to supply direct to retailers and bar/restaurant groups, as well as working with distributors and wholesalers to achieve your KPI’s, you’ll be happy cold calling and should be aiming to complete six appointments a day. One Saturday per month will be required to offer in-store support for retail customers in the form of tastings and events.
You’ll be out on the road a lot but will have a base in our office at the distillery, which is near the town of Ware in Hertfordshire.
- Minimum of two years experience selling within the drinks industry, preferably spirits.
- Full UK driving licence, ideally clean.
- Proven ability to scout out new customers and close deals.
